Top 10 questions:

How long will you be on the boat?
Approximately a year

What are you doing with your house?
Renting from 9/1 to 8/31

What do you do with your cars?
Scott's - parked for the year
Mary's - a good friend will be taking care of it

What about your jobs?
We have both taken a year off from working.  No guarantees we go back to the same company/job but one never knows.

How do you get your mail?
When we need to receive mail we will coordinate a drop ship to a marina where we will be staying.  Having said that, we have gone paperless where possible.

What route will you be taking?
The short answer is South and the detailed answer without naming every stop is as follows.
Ipswich, MA > Block Island > Long Island > Cape May, NJ > various stops along eastern shore of MD > begin InterCoastal Waterway through VA, NC, SC, GA & FL > depart Lake Worth, FL arrive Bahamas.  
The northerly trip (Aprilish) is the same until we get to the Statue of Liberty, then as follows.
Hudson River North > Lake Champlain > Montreal > Ottawa > Lake Ontario > Oswego Canal > Erie Canal > Hudson River South > Long Island Sound > stops in CT, RI, Cape Cod > Ipswich, MA
Itinerary subject to change.

What speed do you cruise?
For economy, 8 kts and if necessary up to 14 kts.

How long will it take you to get to the Bahamas?
We have no specific schedule other than we want to arrive in the Bahamas by 12/1.  From Lake Worth, FL it's ~55 miles to West End (Grand Bahama Is)
Everything is weather dependent and can/will change.

Will you come home at all?
Not planning to, unless of course we absolutely need to.

And the most popular question - when are you leaving?
By 9/10
